2024-11-19 15:16 On the afternoon of May 29, our city held the "Mountain and Sea Encounter, Riding the Waves Forward" Textile and Apparel Industry Cooperation Negotiation Conference between Rushan and Qingdao in Qingdao, providing a platform for key enterprises in the textile and apparel industry of the two cities to communicate and promote high-quality development. Vice Mayor Li Qinglong of the municipal government attended the meeting.The negotiation conference took place at the Seaview Garden Hotel in Qingdao, with 30 key enterprises and industry associations from our city and Qingdao participating. During the conference, attendees watched our city's promotional video. Key representatives from textile and apparel companies such as Qingdao Yingxinyi, Weihai Hantai Hemp, and Shandong Aiwen Bio conducted presentations, highlighting their companies’ basic information, project statuses, and cooperation needs. Guan Baolian, Chairman of Qingdao Smart Technology Investment Holding Co., Ltd., remarked, "Rushan has exceptional resources, a well-equipped dyeing and finishing industrial park, and nationwide advantages in water, electricity, and gas costs, with comprehensive support services. Our company is now particularly looking for partners in dyeing."
At the event, company representatives expressed their views, shared supply and demand information, discussed industry development, engaged in technical exchanges, and sought cooperation opportunities. Both sides stated that they would use this conference as an opportunity to deepen exchanges and cooperation for mutual benefit. Ma Shaohai, Chairman of Rushan Longma Clothing, said, "This conference provided a platform for our company to exchange and showcase, allowing textile and apparel companies from Rushan and Qingdao to learn from each other. Moving forward, we hope to establish partnerships with companies in Qingdao."
In recent years, our city has vigorously implemented the "Industry-led City, Industry-strengthened City" strategy, designating the textile and apparel industry as one of its six main industries. Targeted support policies have been introduced in areas such as market expansion, brand building, and cluster development to promote quality and efficiency improvements in the textile and apparel industry. Currently, our city has over 250 textile and apparel enterprises, with an annual output capacity of 70 million garments, 18 million meters of printed and dyed fabric, and 15,000 tons of dyed yarn. By 2026, the textile and apparel industry is expected to develop into an industrial cluster valued at over 10 billion yuan.
